JUNIOR INTENSIVES FOR BALLET LEVELS 2 & 3
Three and four day intensive study for the dancer who wants to continue developing their ballet technique and exposure to jazz, lyrical, hip hop and other specialty classes. These programs are a great supplement to evening classes. Students are encouraged to enroll in both sessions. Dancers will be separated by level. Three day option runs Monday through Wednesday. Four day option runs Monday through Thursday. Presentations will be featured at the end of both intensives. Intensives will be taught by CAD’s professional staff.
·3 Day Option: July 1-3 from 1:00-4:00pm Cost: $155
·4 Day Option: August 5-8 from 1:00-4:00pm Cost: $205

INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED INTENSIVES FOR BALLET LEVELS 4 THROUGH 9
A four week summer intensive for the serious dancer, intermediate through pre-professional levels. Daily ballet technique, pointe or variations with afternoon contemporary study in jazz, lyrical, hip hop and other specialty classes including ballroom, choreography, jumps and turns study and more. Dancers will be separated by level. Session runs Monday through Friday. The complete full intensive will conclude with a professionally choreographed performance held at Center Academy of Dance. Advanced intensive guest faculty includes Joffrey Ballet’s Ricardo Santos, Valerie Robin, Yumelia Garcia and Guillermo Leyva, as well as Cirque de Solei’s Sam Pergande and master teacher Greg Begley. Intermediate intensive will be taught by CAD’s professional staff.

Interemediate and advanced students registered for the full intensive (complete program only) receive two free evening classes along with 10% off another family member's intensive purchase!
2 Week Option - July 8 through July 19

·Ballet Program: 9:30am-12:30pm Cost: $375
Classes run from June 24 through August 10. Center Academy of Dance will be closed July 4 through July 6 for Independence Day. Ages are “typical” only. Students will need to be evaluated and/or have a teacher recommendation for classes with “TR”.
Register for 3 or more classes per student and receive 10% off your class total. Excludes bundles. Offer expires May 31, 2013.

CONTEMPORARY EXPLOSION 1 - AGES 9+
A group of contemporary classes perfect for dancers or teams to prepare themselves for the upcoming dance season. Dancers must be at least 9 years old and have a minimum of two years experience in contemporary and ballet. Designed for intermediate dancers levels 3 and above. Classes taught by Lyndsey Rhoads.

CONTEMPORARY EXPLOSION 2 - AGES 13+
Similar to Contemporary Explosion 1, this group of higher level classes is for dancers 13 years old and up. Dancers must have a minimum of two years experience in contemporary and ballet. Designed for intermediate/advanced dancers levels 4 & 5. Classes taught by Lyndsey Rhoads.

Become a well-rounded performer by becoming a dancer that can sing, model and act! Learn what it takes to make it in Hollywood or on Broadway! Classes taught by Daniella Cairo.

BREAK THE FLOOR WORKSHOP - AGES 8-18
Learn the latest hip hop choreography AND how to break dance! A high energy workshop designed to improve your hip hop style led by Chicago Culture Shock’s artistic director, Chris Courtney, and Chicago Dance Crash’s, Chantelle Mrowka. Dancers will be separated by levels. Workshop runs Monday and Tuesday.

CONTEMPORARY MASTER WORKSHOP - AGES 9-18
Learn cutting edge choreography and technique in lyrical, jazz, hip hop and crew. Workshop led by Chicago Dance Crash’s Lyndsey Rhoads and Chantelle Mrowka. Dances will be separated by levels. Workshop runs Monday and Wednesday.
·August 5 & 7 from 12:30a-3:00pm Cost: $85
Parents are invited into the studios during the last 15 minutes on the last day of camp to watch and take photos/videos.
TEDDY & ME BALLET - AGES 3-4
Build your own dance bear and take class with them! Camp runs Tuesday to Thursday and is led by Jennifer Runnfeldt. Snack time provided daily.

BALLET, TAP & TUMBLE - AGES 3-7
A fun camp for our youngest dancers including ballet, tap and tumbling. Camps run Tuesday through Thursday. All sessions led by Jaclyn Sartore and Jennifer Runnfedlt. Dancers will be separated by levels. Snack time provided daily.

HIP HOP BLAST CAMP - AGES 5-7
A fun and funky hip-hop camp set to current pop music. All sessions are led by Francesca Dote. Snack and craft time included daily.

TRY-IT CAMP - AGES 6-9
Learn a variety of dance styles, including ballet, hip hop, jazz, lyrical, tumbling and Irish. Camps are led by Chantelle Mrowka and Danna Victor. Dancers will be separated by levels. Camp runs Monday through Wednesday. Snack time provided daily.

Technique work and audition prep for the beginner to advanced level dancer. Workshops run Monday and Tuesday.

A complete program for the dancer who wants to be in top condition for their best performance. Session includes daily classes in fitness, isolation, stretching, rounds & technique. For the beginner to advanced level student. Includes half hour lunch break. Dancers will improve flexibility, endurance and performance quality. Camp runs Friday through Sunday. For ages 7 to adult. Ballroom Bootcamp is taught by CBD’s Max Kholostoy.

A non-refundable $75 deposit is due if intensive is not paid in full at the time of registration. Full payment is due no later than June 13, 2013. No refunds will be given after June 1st. All deposits are non-refundable.
Class size is limited; early registration is recommended Summer tuition will not be prorated. Classes with enrollment under four students may be canceled. Class scheduling and instructors are subject to change.
